A note from Rebekah...
My passion is to train musicians, young and old to make a joyful noise to the Lord. I encourage my students to become equipped to minister to others through the gift of music. Getting to this point naturally takes hours and hours of diligent practice and hard work! Through this, students have the added benefit of developing godly character and a good work ethic, while gaining skills to last a lifetime.
As a Christian first and foremost, it is my goal to glorify God, my Heavenly Father in all I do. I take the liberty to pray and quote Scripture in lessons and at recitals. If this is a problem for you in any way, perhaps I'm not the right music teacher for your family.
Speaking of family, the family unit is something that is very important to me! Growing up, I was blessed to have a family that valued music and encouraged me to learn and share my music. I have also greatly enjoyed playing music with my family (see www.hulinsistersmusic.com and www.sarahhaynesmusicstudio.com) over the years. I am grateful to have married a musician who also plays piano and cello and sings, it is so fun to get to make music together! Being that family music ministry is important to me, it is quite likely that at our recital you may hear parent-child or siblings playing duets or accompanying one another! How rewarding it is to see family unity demonstrated through music!
I pray that I can be a blessing and encouragement to your family through music!
Soli Deo Gloria! -Rebekah
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Ps. 100:1
"Rebekah is a talented musician as well as a gifted teacher. She fully invests her skills in her students. Rebekah is a professional and keeps meticulous notes which can be seen in her timely invoices. She is creative and continuously implements incentives to encourage students in consistent, focused practice. My children have developed a love for music as a result of learning under Rebekah who has the ability to translate her joy for music, from the sheet music to the listener."

What Age Should Music Lessons Begin?
My opinion is that the earlier the better! At age three it would seem that children’s music sponge is possibly most “thirsty”...laying a solid musical foundation at an early age is ideal.
Why Should My Child Take Piano Lessons?
